Crazy Taxi 2
Description official descriptions
The sequel to the smash hit Crazy Taxi puts you in the driver's seat once again with 4 new drivers to choose from, and a brand new city to wreak havoc with, New York City.
In Crazy Taxi, you crashed your taxi through the streets as fast as possible, making money by performing stunts and picking up/dropping off passengers to certain destinations. For Crazy Taxi 2, you can pick up more than one passenger at a time, meaning more money faster, new stunts including the 'hop', which allows you to hop over buildings and take the quick route past the traffic, and plenty of mini-games, such as Crazy Golf.

The Good
The real-world New York is cool, I guess. I don't like that there're four new people instead of the others. Face it, Gina was hot! Anyways, the music is good and the graphics are well-done.
The Bad
It seems rushed by Sega, which released it near 9/11 back then. Sad in a way. The WTC is featured as a backdrop from certain angles, and driving around the area of attacks seems . . . I don't have the word, but surreal I guess. As I've already stated, I don't like the four new people, and New York, either mode, is too hard of a city to enjoy. The multiple fares suck. This seems like an expansion-pack, not a true sequel.
The Bottom Line
Do you have Crazy Taxi, or some Simpsons games? Even the classic Driver on PlayStation? Then don't bother here. There's nothing to see here.

Essentially more of the same with some fluff attached!
The Good
I guess everything that was good about Crazy Taxi is included here in the sequel - great graphics, good songs, good sound, fast intense gameplay. It's all there.
The Bad
Added is the ability to make the taxi jump. "Jump?!?", you say? Yes that's right, just like Sonic. This allows the taxi to get over certain buildings and negotiate traffic with ease. My opinion - a load of crap! A poor attempt to add something new to an already great formula.
The Bottom Line
So you would ask, if the only major new feature was a load of crap, what does that make this game? Well there's essentially nothing wrong with this game, but the problem is that there was nothing wrong with the first game. I see little here to make me want to play this sequel over the original. Bah!
