Big Brother DVD Game
Description
This DVD game is a quiz based on Big Brother (UK) trivia.
There are two ways to play the game, single player or multiplayer. In the single player game the player is asked a series of twenty random questions after which they are given their score.
The multiplayer game is played over eight rounds where each round represents a week in the house with the winner being the player with the most votes (aka points). While playing this game the players choose a housemate as an avatar and are referred to my the housemate's name and not their own. After each round the game reveals which player has the most votes.
In Weeks One, Two and Three each housemate is asked three random questions themed as a variety of different tasks;
- Big Brother's Trivia: A simple multiple choice question
- Diary Room Demons: Here players listen to a clip and guess who is speaking
- Headline Grabbers: A Big Brother related newspaper page is shown with a word of the headline blacked out and platers must guess the missing word
- Catchphrase: Some housemates had a catchphrase but who had what?
- Missing Housemates: A picture of housemates is shown where one 'mate has been hidden by pixellation, who is it?
In Week Four each player has to answer three quick-fire questions, only five second per question to answer. The questions can be from one of two categories;
- Matching Pairs: Pictures of two housemates are shown and the player has to answer Yes if they were in the Big Brother house at the same time, otherwise they answer No
- Name The Housemate: After seeing a housemate's picture the player must identify them correctly.
In Week Five watch player's watch a clip and decide what happens next.
Week Six is called Rucks and Rows, players watch two video clips each and decide what the argument was about in each clip.
Week Seven is the Name The Year round, this is the only round where there are clues available but using a clue means a reduced score for a correct answer.
The final week is Week Eight, The Eviction. The players are shown a full set of housemates from a series and take turns to place them into the order they were evicted, an incorrect answer costs one hundred votes.
After Week Eight players are evicted in ascending order which means the last remaining player has the highest score and the the winner.
All questions are multiple choice and are spoken by an announcer who never appears on screen. The game keeps score so no pencil and paper is necessary.
