Description official descriptions
The long running Madden series returns for another series of NFL action on nearly every platform available in 2003.
New to the series this year are, of course, every new player included in the rosters for the new season, along with every other defensive and attacking player from every team in the league.
New gameplay modes include Owner Mode, an option that allows you to hire your own staff, set prices for tickets and hot dogs, build your own stadium, organise camps pre-season, and nearly everything else an owner needs to do to make his or her team special.
Play a full season and go all the way towards the Super Bowl final, or re-live special moments from past games and try to change history. You can use a full playbook based on the pros, with a host of tricks and formations.
Those new to the series (or NFL in general) can watch video tutorials presented by Al Michaels and Melissa Stark, to fill you in on every little detail of the sport and the game.

The Good
Well there is many features I love in this game but im gonna start off with the new "Owners Mode" this is the most in depth Franchise in Video Gaming ever and if you love this kinda of stuff its a must try. I also liked the fact that you can make your own offensive and defensive playbook. I finally get to make a Defensive formation with 4 linebackers and 7 DBs.
The Bad
The gameplay is very unrealistic it is so hard for you to get a completion for 30 yards or more but its easy for the computer. ex..I had the best defense in the game player wise and i had 4 players covering Terrel Owens and he caught the ball with ease and ran it another 40 yards to get a TD How can TO catch a ball against Champ Baily, John Lynch, Charles Woodson and Patrick Surtain... and he pushed them around like little girls this is a problem that needs to be solved soon.
The Bottom Line
This game has its share of Pros & Cons but overall is a good sports game to buy I recommend you try other titles before you buy Madden

Trivia
EA cover curse
Michael Vick was hit hard by the curse with a broken leg in pre-season that cause him to miss 11 games and the Falcons to finish a disappointing 5-11.
