Quartz 2
Description
Quartz 2 is a tile-matching puzzle game and the sequel to the 2004 game Quartz.
The gameplay remains largely the same: the object of each level is to clear the diamond-shaped playing field from the blocks by grouping them. Groups of four or more blocks of the same color disappear from the field. A red bar at the bottom of the screen builds up when the player drops a block on the field without forming a group.
There are more special blocks than in the first gamer, and 3 single-player modes: Standard, Timed, and Puzzle. Additionally, the handheld version of the game supports cross-platform multiplayer via Bluetooth. In the multiplayer mode, the gameplay is similar, but there's no red bar to fill and whenever one player forms a group, the game drops black ungroupable blocks on the opponent's playfield.
