Moby ID: 110799

Description

Scelbi's First Book of Computer Games for the "8008"/"8080" is a book that contains machine language listings for three different games for the 8008 and 8080 processors. Hangman allows the player to play the classic pen and paper game against the computer. The computer has a long expandable dictionary of words to choose from and the player has eight guesses. Hexpawn is a version of Hexapawn and features a learning AI. Space Capture pits the player against the computer where the player must shoot down an alien spaceship. Randomization in the alien's patterns makes each play different.
