The Imagination Machine is a hybrid home computer and video game console. The MP1000 is a standalone second-generation console that runs games on cartridges. The console can be upgraded with the IM-1 computer component which adds a keyboard and tape drive, turning it into a fully functional computer. The device runs on a Motorola 6800 CPU and could display eight colors on screen. The two wired controllers feature a joystick and twelve buttons each.
