Pole Position: Remix

Moby ID: 32283
iPod Classic Specs

Description

Pole Position: Remix is a remake of Pole Position II to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the game. The original gameplay is left intact, but this version includes new graphics and altered gameplay (now in 3D), a new soundtrack and an entirely new course: Misaki Point. There are four game modes: practice, single race, grand prix and sudden death. The player earns points by passing other cars and for the travelled distance. By doing well, extras can be unlocked such as reversed and mirrored tracks, cars and billboards.

The click wheel is used to steer the car and the game includes an option to listen to the iPod's music library while playing the game. Another feature selects album art from the hard disk and projects it on the roadside billboards - in particular the art of the album of the song playing, as well as random art from other albums.
