The Sims Bowling
Description
The Sims Bowling is a mobile entry in the Sims franchise where the player can create his own bowling playing sim. The sim can be modified with different appearances and by playing well its popularity rating will increase. The game is played from a first person perspective which changes to a top down view as the ball reaches the pins. To launch the ball four interactions are made. First the player sets the position by moving left or right. After that the power is set by hitting a button as a cursor moves up and down inside a meter. The higher it stops the more power will be applied but with less control. If it stops in the top most area it will result in a foul. Then an aiming bar will appear that swings left and right and the player has to stop it at the optimal angle. Finally the player has to set the ball spin which is once again done with a cursor moving within a meter.
The game can be played by one player against AI opponents or against another human in a pass 'n play mode where both players use the same device. There are three game modes: classic which follows traditional rules and is played over ten frames, spare-o-thon where the player has to complete spares with three attempts on each and strike-o-thon where the player only advances by making strikes or spares although only strikes are worth points.
