3D Bomberman Atomic
Description
3D Bomberman Atomic is a mobile version of Hudson Soft's long running series. Although the game uses three dimensional graphics the game is still viewed from a traditional top down perspective. The basic gameplay remains the same too. The player moves through a maze and has to destroy his enemies by placing bombs in strategic locations. The enemies will die if they are within range of the bomb. When all enemies are dead the player has completed the level. Different power ups exist. These can have both positive and negative effects on the player. For example there are power ups that allows the player to push or throw bombs while others increases or decreases the movement speed. There are also different level elements such as moving belts, teleports and jumping pads that are needed to navigate through the levels.
The game has a campaign mode that consists of a number of stages (each with a few levels) that has to be completed in order. Each stage represents a planet with it's own graphical style. Unlocked stages can be played on their own in the single play mode. There's also a match mode which is for multiplayer against up to three other bombermen. On Sony Ericsson handsets this can be played against human players via Bluetooth, while on other handsets it's only against AI controlled opponents.
