Fight for Life
Description official description
Fight for Life is a 3D fighting game that takes place in hell. The player controls one of eight deceased fighters competing to earn a chance to escape and return to the world of the living. After they defeat an opponent they not only move on to the next round, but also learn two of the opponent's moves.
This is the only 3D fighting game released for the Jaguar. It features brightly-colored texture mapped fighters and arenas. Gameplay is very similar to Virtua Fighter, in that the moves more-or-less look like real martial arts.

Great 3d fighting game for the Jaguar. The only one 'an all!
The Good
The fighting is great, loads of fun moves, a little bit of blood and gore, all gives a positive effect on the experience. Graphics are awesome, takes full advantage of the Atari Jaguar's capabilities, 3d polygons are awesome on the eye, so are all the colors. The controls are equally good, and the audio is really good. Very fun to play and a overly satisfying fighting game. Being it's a cart game, no problem with loading time either.
The Bad
The game can be long in all fairness, and it can be quite hard. It is by no means a quick fighter and the game play can take a while to play. However, there’s cons are also pros, as it gives the game more challenge. It all takes practice! No issues as far as flaws & glitches are concerned.
The Bottom Line
Great fighting game, has great graphics, very fun to play, very satisfying fighting, great controls, quite lengthy, and at times very hard. Defiantly worth picking up if you have a jaguar, no problems with loading times and no issues with glitches or flaws.

Trivia
Development
Game began production in May of '94 and was completed in December of '95. However, the game was delayed until it was shipped in April '96.
Jaguar
Fight for Life was the last title released by Atari for the Jaguar platform.
Marketing
Despite its obvious limitations, the game was constantly being pushed as genre-defining by Atari executives. One such meeting had Fight For Life pitted head-to-head on a widescreen TV with Tekken (which was what Atari said Fight For Life was superior to). Executives wholeheartedly agreed that it was a legitimate competitor to Tekken, much to the disbelief of Atari programmers, who knew better.
