Choice of the Star Captain

This comedic multiple-choice game visits a science fiction setting in which humanity is besieged by invading alien fleets of the horrible Blobs -- at least, so military central has told us all. The player is a star jockey -- a spaceship pilot -- who is drafted by the sketchy Salazar to support the war effort. Through several textual accounts of sorties and missions, the player (accompanied by a persnickety AI, Lloyd) will learn more about how the war is going and even influence its course, as more is learned about the conflict's source and just what terms of armistice would entail. The player's performance in these missions is not only informed by their decisions but also their raw ability, as determined in training, as well as between-mission upgrades they can make to their vessel. Will the player survive the war? Will they follow orders blindly? How will they respond to out-and-out-treachery? Therein lie the choices.
