Icy Tower
Description
Icy Tower is seen in a traditional platform side view and players control Harold the Homeboy as he attempts to climb a tower of infinite height whilst doing cool jumps and moves in order to get a high score and awe from his friends in the hood.
The main game mechanic is that the faster Harold runs, the higher he can jump. This can be used to pick up speed in order to jump several stories in one go, something which is required to string together combination jumps which in turn score the most point. This is made harder by the fact that the screen where the player is seen is constantly moved upwards, faster and faster, and the player must keep up or forfeit the game.
Controls are very simple with only left, right and jump being used. Replays can be recorded and shared with friends and via a global online highscore function. The game also supports custom characters which either can be created by the user or downloaded from the net.
