Sargon 2.5
Description
Sargon 2.5 is an improved version of the Sargon II chess AI. The game was commercially released as a standalone chess computer in 1980, but already played its first game at the American Computer Chess Championship of 1979. The 1980 console used a 6502 processor and was unique in being the first chess computer to show the opponent's moves on the board itself using small LEDs instead of using chess notation on a separate display. Aside from that the console allowed exchanging the chess AI module with other versions.
