Snake

Snake is a remake of Nokia's original Snake mobile game that was launched with the 2017 version of the Nokia 3110. The basic gameplay is the same with the player having to eat as many apples as possible while avoiding bombs. The main difference is the control of the snake which now moves in arcs rather than 90 degrees turns. There are some extra items that can be collected such as the magnet that attracts apples, multipliers which double or quadruple the value of each apple and the scissors which shrink the snake and reduce its speed.

There are two game modes: levels and survival. Levels are made up of a series of challenges each which has three difficulties. Medals are awarded for each level completed and they are required to unlock subsequent levels. There are three kinds of challenges: timed challenge, horizontal and vertical challenges and snake vs. snake timed challenge. In timed challenges the player has to eat a certain amount of apples before time runs out. In horizontal and vertical challenges the player has to navigate through a narrow tunnel with obstacles to a gate that is opened when enough apples have been eaten. The snake vs. snake challenges adds a second snake and the player has to eat more apples than it does. The survival mode simply involves staying alive and eating as many apples as possible.
