Vivendi Games (formerly Vivendi Universal Games or simply VU Games), the games arm of Vivendi Universal Publishing (formerly Havas). Vivendi Games grew large through years of acquisitions. Their education games arm had a long history, dating back to the 1980s software pioneers Davidson and Associates.
North American headquarters were in Culver City, California, USA at the Howard Hughes Center.
Vivendi Universal Games merged with Activision in 2008 to become Activision Blizzard, at which point many of its studios and intellectual properties were sold off to various other game publishers and developers.
