Overview edit · view history
BioWare Montréal was a game development studio based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. It was a BioWare studio next to the main Edmonton operation, and owned by Electronic Arts. The studio was first announced on 2 March 2009.
The studio was responsible for DLC in the Mass Effect series and it was the lead studio on Mass Effect: Andromeda (2017). Following the release, the Montréal branch was reported to be downgraded to a support studio and in August 2017, EA confirmed that the team would be merged into Motive Studio, also an EA studio and located in the same city.
