8lb Gorilla

8lb Gorilla is a mobile game development studio of Electronic Arts. First revealed in July 2009, it was set up with about 20 developers to create small iOS games. Its first game, Zombies & Me, was released in the same month.

After a hiatus of two years the studio returned with the free-to-play game Ghost Harvest in June 2011, supported by in-app purchases for premium content. The last update to the game was in January 2012 and it has since been pulled from the App Store.

No further projects have been revealed.
