SEGA Studios Australia is a game development studio of SEGA and based in Fortitude Valley, Queensland (Australia). The studio was started in July 2002 as The Creative Assembly International Limited, the Australian division of the UK studio The Creative Assembly. On 9th March 2005 the SEGA Sammy group announced the acquisition of The Creative Assembly, also acquiring the Australian division. In December 2010 it was renamed SEGA Studios Australia.

The Australian team first contributed to Rome: Total War (2004) and was then responsible for Medieval II: Total War (2006) and the expansion Medieval II: Total War - Kingdoms (2007). The three games are part of the Total War series The Creative Assembly has been working on since the release of the first game in 2000. The studio also created Stormrise (2009), a real-time strategy game in an entirely new franchise. In addition the team ported the games in the Nintendo DS Sonic Classic Collection (2010). Its first work as SEGA Studios Australia was London 2012 (2012).

In April 2013 it was announced that the studio would be closed later in 2013.
