The Transam Triton was an 8-bit microcomputer released in Britain. Initially the computer was sold only as a kit, but later the business model shifted to also sell pre-assembled computers. The computer made use of the Intel 8080A processor and ran TinyBASIC, a lean but more limited version of the programming language BASIC. The kit was sold in several different tiers of bundles with the higher tiers allowing the computer to run Pascal code and the CP/M operating system.
