Game Groups > Protagonist: Female (option)

Games in which at least one playable character (protagonist) of the game is a female in gender (heroine) among other options. The character can be either predefined or created in the character creator.

Limitations

• Games which only have female protagonist(s) belong to the main Protagonist: Female group instead.
• In games where a large number of player units is controlled, such as strategy/tactics games, only the character(s) representing the player count(s) - e.g. IMP mercenary in the Jagged Alliance series or the customizable ruler unit in the Age of Wonders series. Female characters being merely controllable units and/or making appearances in the storyline (e.g. Tanya Adams in C&C: Red Alert titles) do not qualify.
• In campaign modes where multiple predefined characters get their storylines, any campaign or section thereof with a female character qualifies - e.g. the Night Elf campaign in WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos as led by Tyrande Whisperwind, or Arcade Mode storylines in fighting games.
