Description
Galactic Invasion is a port of the classic arcade game Galaxian to the Bally Astrocade.
This space shooter supports up to four players, with players taking turns firing on a descending alien horde. There are nine levels of gameplay difficulty available, with more enemy bombs and faster enemy speeds at the higher levels. The number of bases (lives) the player has is also configurable at the start of the game, from 1-9.

Alternate Title
The arcade classic Galaxian was programmed by Bally (Midway), but because Midway only possessed arcade distribution rights and wasn't able to distribute home console versions of the game, it was instead released with the title Galactic Invasion for the Astrocade. That said, there are some revisions of the game that do feature the title Galaxian on the title screen or on the physical cartridge itself.
