aka: 3-D Tankzone
Moby ID: 218341

Description

3-D Tank Zone is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.

As supreme commander of a city's defenses, perched atop their fortified hilltop command post, the player must scan for invading enemy tanks and aircraft.

Played from a first person perspective, the player can look in the four cardinal directions. The player is armed with an anti-aircraft cannon and an anti-tank missile launcher, and can switch between these weapons. The crosshair moves in all directions, and the player tries to shoot down helicopters or planes as they fly across the screen. Anti-tank missiles are aimed by using vertical and horizontal aiming indicators. The radar screen shows the location of incoming enemy vehicles, and weapon energy and shield status is shown at the bottom of the screen. When shield status hits zero its game over.
